Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery Operating Room position requiring current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification and prior L&D operating room experience.

Details

• Hospital Labor and Delivery unit caring for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, including high risk antepartum and postpartum patients
• Unit includes a 3-bay OBED, 20 labor rooms, 3 ORs, and 3 PACU bays
• Travelers will function in OBED, L&D, and OB PACU but will not circulate OR cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm, 4 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be able to triage for OB

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring through AWHONN or GE
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• Previous L&D operating room experience required
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required
• BSN or MSN preferred
