Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required. 13-week assignment through January 11, 2027.

Highlights:

• Join a specialized IV Therapy and Vascular Access Team at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility
• Focus on ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placement and central line management during night shift
• Approximately 15 patient visits per shift based on consults; 1:1 patient ratio
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Epic charting system; 24 hours of orientation provided
• No floating between units; no on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of IV therapy/vascular access experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, PICC line management, central line care, and vascular access troubleshooting
• Experience with adult inpatient, neonatal, and geriatric patient populations
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
