Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist - Days (M-F scheduled) in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced, small IR suite. The role requires proficiency in IR scrub and circulator skills, with preference for candidates experienced in the Cath Lab as scrub. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and is expected to last for 16 weeks.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 08:00-16:30, Monday through Friday, with on-call shifts approximately 8-10 times per month, inclusive of nights and weekends. On-call starts 31 minutes after the scheduled shift ends.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) certification, valid Maryland state license, BLS, ACLS certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting in Epic electronic medical record system, cath lab scrub experience, and familiarity with specialized equipment such as Phillips Azurion C-Arm and angioplasty balloons.
  • Additional Information: This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of procedures including angioplasty, thrombectomy, biopsies, dialysis catheter placements, and other complex interventions. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the IR and cath lab specialties and be available to participate in on-call rotations, including every third weekend for urgent/emergent cases.
