HIGH-PAY DAY-SHIFT INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY (IR) TECH CONTRACT – ASCENSION COLUMBIA ST. MARY’S

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Lake Michigan Shoreline). Operating within the advanced interventional vascular and neuro/body imaging suite at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee, this position features a daytime procedural schedule (07:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM). PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $3,488.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,568.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $48.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $72.00/hr

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 4 days per week (07:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
On-Call Structure: Department call runs on a rotational pattern (currently 7 days on-call [Monday–Sunday], followed by 7 days completely off-call).
- Weekday call (M–F): 14.5 hours off-shift coverage.
- Weekend call (Sat–Sun): 24 hours per day.
- Holiday coverage as scheduled.
Procedural Scope & Caseload: Circulating and scrubbing vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, angioplasties, stenting, embolizations, thrombectomies, line placements (ports, PICCs, Hickman), drainages, and biopsies.
Equipment & Systems: High proficiency with fluoroscopy systems, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), sterile field preparation, and Epic EMR.
Floating Scope: Float on-site within clinical skill set, or rarely to affiliated Ascension facilities within 40 miles if operationally required.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is required. Prior travel experience is required.
Licensure: Active Wisconsin State Radiographer License in hand.
Certifications Required: * ARRT Certification (R or VI/CI preferred) in hand.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
EMR Requirement: Epic charting experience is required.

Location Details: Assignment is located at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee, 2301 N Lake Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53211 (Dept: Radiology-Interventional 001 - 14380). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 11, 2026, through January 09, 2027. Call Rotation Agreement: Candidate must be fully aware of the 7-on / 7-off call schedule (14.5 hr weekday call coverage, 24 hr weekend call coverage). Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active ARRT, WI Radiographer License, and AHA BLS must be in hand and uploaded with the initial submittal packet. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be presented upfront with submission.
