Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technician will assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. Responsibilities include scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists, operating fluoroscopic modality machines, retrieving and circulating complex products during procedures, and critically thinking during neuro-interventional cases. The role requires maintaining sterile techniques, infection prevention measures, and contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team. Additional duties include operating power injection devices, managing groin post-intervention, documenting in electronic medical records, and sending images to Sectra/PACs systems. The technician must demonstrate high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, Associate degree, or completion of an accredited radiographic program.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
• NJ radiographic licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent.
