Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR Tech) position located in the designated area. This role involves supporting various interventional procedures using GE imaging equipment and maintaining sterile techniques. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with advanced vascular and specialized procedures, ensuring patient safety, and managing equipment and supplies.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Days shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: ARRT Registration (Radiography), BLS certification, Kansas License (LRT), at least 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE Innova IGS, EPIC EMR, PACS, and Special Procedures such as Aortography, Embolization, and Stent placement.
- On-call Requirement: Yes, Weekday- 2 nights per week, weekends- approximately every 5th weekend at two specified locations.
- Float: Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities to meet operational needs.
- Additional Responsibilities: Assisting in X-ray when IR is not busy, maintaining sterile technique, managing patient access sites, and operating imaging equipment.
- Special Requirements: Must have Kansas license, experience with GE machines, and proficiency with EPIC EMR and PACS systems.
- Submittal Requirements: Valid Kansas license, applicable certifications, and compliance with modular training deadlines.
- Contract Duration: From 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027, with guaranteed hours of 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
