Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in various interventional techniques and a strong background in radiology.

Position Overview

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires proficiency in using advanced imaging equipment and performing essential procedures under the guidance of physicians.

Shift and Schedule

• Work Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts
• Typical Shift Hours: 07:30 - 18:00
• Weekend Requirements: Call hours may include some weekends

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT (R) required)
• Two years of experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms, as well as Ultrasound for arterial and venous access
• Demonstrated competency in the following procedures:
  • Stroke thrombectomy
  • Embolization
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Fistulagram
  • Arteriogram with intervention
  • Venogram with intervention
  • Dialysis access
  • Venous access
  • Y90 treatment
  • Chest port placement
  • Nephrostomy tube placement
  • PTC
  • G-tube placement
  • TIPS
• BLS certification required
• VI credential preferred but not required

Additional Information

Must be able to accommodate block scheduling if time off requests do not include Fridays or Mondays. All requests for time off will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Local candidates are welcome, and pending licenses may be accepted.
