Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

This position is within a peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves working with a dedicated team and providing excellent patient care in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures.
Assist in managing patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams in the performance of procedures.
Maintain records and documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications

ARRT registered (R).
BLS certification required.
State certification or license in radiologic technology.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
Experience with EPIC is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Varied 8-hour shifts may start as early as 7:00 am and can include starting times of 7:30 am, 8:00 am, and 8:30 am. Weekend support is provided through a rotating on-call system among team members.

Contract Length

This position offers a contract length of 13 to 26 weeks.
