Special Procedures Radiology Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Special Procedures Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Flexible call schedule: Approximately 8 shifts per month, varying by rotation
• Holiday call may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including:
• • FEVAR/PMEG
  • EVAR
  • TEVAR
  • AAA/TAA
  • Angiograms
  • Declots and Lysis
  • Stenting and Embolization
  • TAVR procedures
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies including Zeego and Pheno systems, with a focus on their vascular features and troubleshooting.
• Work independently under pressure while managing multiple high-acuity cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Extensive endovascular experience is required.
• Must have over 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno systems.
• Familiarity with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad technologies is essential.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
• Knowledge of PACS system and advanced vascular functions.
• Understanding of vascular supplies including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths.
• Certifications: ARRT and BLS required. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency.

Additional Information

• Local radius rule: 60 miles
• All request time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission and will be approved based on department needs.
• Travelers may be called off for up to 1 shift per pay period.
• Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
