Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) specialist in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing high-quality imaging services within the department of radiology, supporting various surgical procedures, and maintaining safety and teamwork standards across multiple work locations. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with on-call duties, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 13-week assignment, 4 days per week, each shift lasting 10 hours with start times of 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM depending on departmental call shifts. On-call required from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with one weekday and one weekend shift per month.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligibility with certification prior to employment start date; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology; ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique; candidates must have Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery experience; previous scrub cases required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in vascular, neuro, or body surgery; additional certifications or experience in sterile procedures and surgical support.
- Additional Information: Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Must demonstrate effective communication skills and flexibility to work various hours and locations. The role requires competence in multiple imaging modalities and surgical support environments.
