Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role in a Level I trauma and certified stroke center, requiring critical care and Angio/IR experience.

Details

  • Angiography/IR unit with 3 labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR) located in the Heart and Vascular Tower
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS in 3-4 person teams (ideal staffing of 2 Techs and 2 RNs)
  • Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
  • Documentation system is EPIC Cupid
  • 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call requirements
  • High acuity patient population
  • Procedures performed include Permcath, port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma cases

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
  • ICU/ER experience needed
  • Critical care gtt management skills required

Additional Information

  • Work in a Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
  • Navy blue and black scrubs required for Tech staff
  • Does not accept local candidates and requires candidates live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
