Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit within a cardiac IR setting
  • 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekend shifts required
  • On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week and every 6th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
  • ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS (SCRQSA) certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Pending state license accepted, must be obtained prior to starting
  • Recent Epic experience preferred but not required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

  • Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation pass/fail tests administered on the first day of orientation with one attempt to pass
  • Must report to the lab within 24 hours of signing
  • Attendance policy in place; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
  • All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application, as later requests will not be considered
  • Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Former SRHS perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers to any SRHS facility
