Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) La Crosse, WI. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the IR department at a medical facility. The role includes performing procedures, sedation, and patient monitoring in a fast-paced environment with a focus on neurointervention procedures such as stroke thrombectomy and embolization.
Job Details
- Certifications: WI RN license, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS.
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as an RN in IR, Cath Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Room, or Recovery.
- Location: La Crosse, WI.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours weekly.
- Required Qualifications: RN license in Wisconsin, BLS and ACLS certification, 3+ years RN experience in relevant departments, experienced in sedation, neurointervention, and proficient with IV skills.
- Additional Information: Position does not require floating; all work is at the Lacrosse Hospital campus. On-call responsibilities include one night per week, 46 weekends, and potential holidays with a 30-minute response time.
- Charting Experience: Epic strongly preferred.
- Responsibilities include assisting with neurointervention procedures, providing sedation, and ensuring comprehensive patient care.
