Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN for a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital, requiring MN licensure and a minimum of 2 years IR experience.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of an acute care, Level 3 trauma teaching hospital
• Average daily census of 10-20 patients across 3 procedure rooms
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• On-call required every 3rd-4th weekend plus approximately one weeknight per week
• May float within scope to meet facility needs, including to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR system
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Skills required: circulating, conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, pulmonary artery lines, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (local radiology candidates accepted)
• Returning staff must have been gone at least 3 months from their last shift worked as a perm employee (staff or per diem)
• RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
• Pre-start modules are required and must be completed prior to starting
• References are not provided by the facility post-assignment or for former perm employees
