Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position requires working days with an on-call rotation, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Quick Start
- Location: Rockford, IL
- Shift Details: Day Shift with On-Call Rotation
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3300 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to provide patient care
- Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Develop and execute a patient care plan according to individualized needs
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Offer clinical expertise and guidance to other departments
- Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience
- Engage in personal development and support system-entity opportunities for continuous learning
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of critical care experience
- Cardiovascular Intervention experience
- Successful completion of an EKG test before the end of orientation
