Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with active MA licensure and at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
  • 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Some weekend requirements to cover stress testing
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current AHA ACLS certification required
  • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam and pass/fail ECG/Tele and Medications tests during onboarding (one attempt only, 85% passing score)
  • Documented professional development activities required
  • Knowledge of critical paths required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Testing occurs via Zoom within 48 hours of confirmation with no opportunity for remediation or re-sit
  • Weekend and holiday coverage expected
  • Biweekly orientation schedule
  • Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu (medical exemptions allowed)
  • Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
  • All RTO requests must be submitted with candidate profile prior to consideration
  • Interview conducted by hiring manager
