Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with a MA license and at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
  • 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Some weekend requirements to cover stress testing
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating or charge nurse requirement

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current AHA ACLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
  • Must pass a Dysrhythmia (ECG/Tele) test and a Medication test administered via Zoom prior to assignment, with only one attempt allowed and a required passing score of 85%
  • Documented professional development activities required
  • Knowledge of critical paths required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care within the Interventional Radiology unit, including monitoring and supporting stress testing procedures
  • Biweekly orientation schedule
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Holiday coverage expected as part of the schedule
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates will not be accepted
  • Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any facility within the health system before being considered
  • All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
  • Interview availability must be provided at the time of consideration
