Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620–$2,760
• Position Type: Registered Nurse travel contract

• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, with start times as early as 6:30 a.m.

• Call Requirements: Approximately 1–2 weeknights as needed, with a 30-minute response time and a two-hour minimum for call-back
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Approximately every fifth to sixth weekend; holidays approximately every other rotation
• Float Requirement: May float to other nearby locations within the regional health system as needed
• Work Location: On-site in Wausau, Wisconsin

Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• At least 4 years of professional nursing experience, including experience in Interventional Radiology or a comparable fast-paced procedural setting
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing or approved equivalent nursing education; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work on-site, participate in call and rotation requirements, and respond within the required timeframe

Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures
• Complete pre-procedure assessments, patient monitoring, medication administration, procedural support, and post-procedure care
• Maintain a 1:1 patient care focus while supporting an average daily volume of approximately 4–6 patients
• Collaborate closely with radiologic technologists and the interdisciplinary procedural team
• Prepare patients, equipment, and documentation according to procedural and safety standards
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Provide on-call coverage and return to the unit within the required 30-minute response time when called
• Float to other regional locations when operational needs require additional nursing support
