Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a VA or compact RN license and offering a short-term 8-week contract.

Details

  • Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit setting
  • 8-week contract at 24 hours per week
  • Day shift schedule with 3x8-hour shifts staggered every 30 minutes, starting between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM and ending between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
  • Epic EMR preferred
  • Floating within the facility or nearby affiliated facilities may be required based on census and volume
  • ICU travelers may float to non-ICU units and assume standard patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required in hand at time of submission (temporary licenses accepted)
  • Current required certifications and a current Nursys report required for consideration
  • All required certifications must be obtained prior to start

Additional Information

  • No local radius restriction, with local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Up to 8 hours of non-billable pre-start training modules required within 1 week of signing, completed through WorkRamp
  • Requested time off exceeding 7 days requires an equivalent extension of the assignment
  • Returning travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
  • Travel pairs are not guaranteed to both receive offers, and matching schedules are not guaranteed even if both are offered positions
