Join a fast-paced Interventional Radiology travel nursing team in Tyler, Texas, a welcoming East Texas community, supporting IR, CT, and ultrasound procedures in a respected Level 1 Trauma Center and primary stroke center.

Job Details

• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Location: Tyler, TX
• Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center / Primary Stroke Center / Teaching Hospital
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 8-hour schedule
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Every 4th - 5th day and every 4th - 5th weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Previous experience with Epic charting preferred/required
• Strong clinical background in moderate sedation and procedural nursing
• Ability to support a dynamic, high-acuity procedural environment
• Comfort working with adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for Interventional Radiology procedures
• Support moderate sedation needs in IR, CT, and ultrasound
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with procedural preparation, documentation, and recovery care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
• Manage care for a variety of procedure types across two IR rooms
• Float to cover moderate sedation needs as assigned
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and high standards of clinical practice
