Travel RN Job Details

Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of professional RN experience; Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of procedural nursing, patient monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure care for invasive imaging procedures
• Ability to float among body Interventional Radiology, neuro Interventional Radiology, CT, and ultrasound procedure rooms
• Current license and certification verification
• Completion of required competency assessments and skills documentation
• Ability to meet required occupational health, background screening, and onboarding standards

Interventional Radiology Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
• Float among multiple procedure rooms and adapt to body, neuro, CT, and ultrasound-guided interventions
• Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, education, verification, and safety checks
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and promptly recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, policies, and nursing standards
• Assist the procedural team with sterile technique, supplies, equipment, and patient positioning
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, discharge education, and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation, including designated weekends and weeknights
