Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Sierra Vista, Arizona. This position supports a growing Interventional Radiology program at a community hospital, providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care. The RN will work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and support staff to expand procedural capabilities and develop new service lines.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Current RN License in Arizona (or compact state license), BLS, ACLS, with a minimum of 5 years of critical care experience; moderate/conscious sedation experience preferred.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support a growing Interventional Radiology department with procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, and embolizations. Experience with vascular and oncology procedures, patient recovery after sedation, and familiarity with Cerner EMR are preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior hospital-based Interventional Radiology experience, management of PICC lines/ports, and assistance with advanced procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
