Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with procedural nursing, critical care, PACU, or Emergency Department (ED) background preferred
  • Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or GI procedural experience required
  • Body and neuro procedure experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Strong skills in procedural sedation monitoring and administration
  • Ability to start and maintain IV access and manage complex patient care needs
  • Trauma Level I experience required
  • Ability to work independently, communicate directly with physicians, and thrive in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent time management, adaptability, and conflict-resolution skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor patients throughout planned, urgent, and emergent procedures
  • Support safe procedural sedation and patient recovery in a high-acuity clinical setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Assist with care of patients receiving body and neuro IR procedures
  • Respond calmly and effectively to changes in patient condition or workflow
  • Manage complex patient coordination needs while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Participate in call coverage and remain available for after-hours needs as assigned
  • Promote a professional, patient-centered environment at all times
