Travel RN Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Setting: Interventional Radiology procedure rooms with intermittent pre/post care support
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 - $2,400
• Call Requirement: 2 shifts of call during the contract
• Orientation: 24 hours

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology or a related procedural setting
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Strong experience with circulating procedures, sedation support, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, team-based procedural environment
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or other formal leader

Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and support Interventional Radiology procedures in a busy procedural setting
• Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery in pre/post areas as needed
• Provide safe sedation support and maintain vigilance throughout procedures
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, advanced practice providers, and fellow nurses
• Deliver high-quality care for patients undergoing vascular access, embolization, drain placement, biopsy, and other interventional treatments
• Maintain a calm, organized, and patient-focused approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment
