Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) RN position located on the ground floor of a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patient vitals during invasive procedures, and administering conscious sedation under the supervision of a radiologist. The position requires a confident and team-oriented RN committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, ACLS certification, 3 years of relevant experience, located within the applicable geographic region
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in interventional radiology or catheterization laboratory settings, background in emergency department or intensive care unit settings
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The unit has 225 beds, with a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:1. Equipment includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine. The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC. The RN must be comfortable performing conscious sedation under radiologist supervision and work well in a group setting with technologists and other nurses. The dress code consists of light blue surgical scrubs supplied by the facility. Orientation and computer-based training will be completed prior to clinical work.
