Travel RN – Angiography / Interventional Radiology

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts with on-call requirements | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an Angiography/Interventional Radiology setting with a 1:1 patient ratio across 3 labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
  • Perform and assist with procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma interventions
  • Manage critical care drips (gtts) and provide care for high-acuity patients including stroke and trauma cases
  • Operate and assist with specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC Cupid electronic health record system
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required per unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care and/or Angiography/Interventional Radiology
  • ICU and/or Emergency Department experience required
  • Experience with critical care gtt management, stroke care, and trauma care

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working within a Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Familiarity with Certified Stroke Center protocols and workflows
  • Prior experience working in a multi-person procedural team (RN + Tech staffing model)
  • Proficiency with EPIC Cupid documentation system
