Description:
This position requires an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
The role involves assisting Radiologists during procedures by scrubbing in and coordinating the room.
Responsibilities include scheduling and coding procedures, as well as post-procedure film processing and charting.
The Technologist will be responsible for billing cases and supplies.
Essential equipment utilized includes Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Sectra Pacs, Toshiba IR Machines, and Siemens Ultrasound Units.
Candidates should be able to work independently on smaller interventional cases and as part of a team on larger angiography work.
Call is required, with rotations for evenings and weekends.
The position involves floating to other departments as needed.
The unit has two fluoroscopy rooms, CT utilization, and two minor procedure rooms for ultrasound procedures.
Client scrubs will be provided.
Training will include general equipment and protocol review, along with EMR training.
This role requires a commitment to quality patient care and effective communication within the team.
