Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist- Perform sophisticated imaging procedures using specialized equipment
- Ensure imaging clarity and patient safety during procedures
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams across multiple sites
- Conduct vascular and endovascular procedures, including thrombectomy and embolization
- Manage patient recovery and initiate life support measures if needed
- Adhere to Safety and Infection Control Policies of the facility
- Educate and mentor Radiologic Technology students
Requirements of the Interventional Radiology Technologist- BLS certification - must be AHA
- ARRT certification
- NDMIRT certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience
- Experience with strokes, MMAs, pipelines, and other specialized procedures
