Shifts: Tuesday-Thursday, 6:30pm - 7am (Three 12-hour shifts with no on-call responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients.
• Utilize CT scan modality to create diagnostic images.
• Support teaching and continuous learning in technological advancements.
• Conduct trauma, emergency room, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate.
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York State.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Entry-level position with limited or no experience required; skill set and experience will determine MIT Level.
