Certifications: AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS is preferred; RCIS/CCI or ARRT is required
Must-Have:
12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required
Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience is required
Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required
Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures is required
Level I trauma experience is preferred
Peripheral vascular experience is required
Professional reference/reference check is preferred; reference from within 24 months is ideal
Description:
Quickly interviewing viable candidates.
Local radius rule is 50 miles.
Employee separation policy applies to former employees.
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
Call schedule is every third evening and third weekend.
Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures.
Number of cases per day is approximately 25.
Call team covers multiple facilities with most emergencies occurring at one location.
Level I trauma experience is preferred.
Professional references must be from a charge supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO.
Documentation of driver’s license is required.
Iowa Radiology license issuance timeline varies if non-active; 48 hours to 4 weeks.
Active ARRT (R) is required.
RCIS/CCI certification is a nice-to-have.
