Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,992 per week in Charlottesville, VA

License: VA license required but can be submitted with that pending. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required. Must-Have: Strong vascular/interventional radiology experience. Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures. Ability to work independently. Description: This position is for a tech in the imaging support role in the OR. The position involves working in vascular interventional radiology. Candidate will be responsible for pulling inventory and ordering cases in the electronic system prior to procedures. Candidate will run the table and controls during cases. The role includes performing 3D spins and working with fusion technology. Candidate must be actively engaged in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images. Using documentation tools is required to add inventory used during the case. Collaboration with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members is important. During downtime, candidate will utilize a C-arm to support simple surgical cases alongside the x-ray staff. Procedures may include Impellas and cystos. Candidate should be comfortable being involved in the entire case workflow rather than simply operating the equipment. Rotating call every fourth week is required. There is a 50-mile radius rule for travel.
