Experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro settings. Description: The position is for a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist. The daily caseload per technologist is 4-5 patients. The technologist will work five 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call requirement includes one night per week and every fifth weekend. The radius for on-call should be within 30 minutes. No floating between departments is required. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are accepted. A BLS certification and ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification are required. A radiation badge is mandatory and must be supplied by the agency. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application. The facility may cancel one shift every two weeks. The work environment is a teaching hospital and a Level 1 trauma center. All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Travelers should understand and prepare for this potential obligation.
