Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist - Interventional Radiology- Perform technical CT scan procedures under the direction of medical professionals
- Assist in clinical evaluations and patient care
- Support trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, and research CT imaging
- Enforce radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health regulations
Requirements of the CT Technologist - Interventional Radiology- Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider or equivalent CPR certification
