Description:
The Interventional Radiology Tech will perform procedures in the department.
The facility has 8 dedicated rooms for Interventional Radiology.
On average, there are 45-50 cases per day.
The patient types include those with strokes, cancer, tumors, and occlusions.
Neuro procedures involve stroke management and complex cases.
Body procedures include trauma management, embolization, thrombectomy, and biopsies.
Technicians will be supported by three extenders to assist with room turnover and inventory.
There are 7 providers and 4 advanced practice providers within the department.
The department values collaboration and mentorship, especially with new graduates.
Technicians will work with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems, as well as GE ultrasound units.
