Job Title: Special Procedures Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Hybrid OR Extensive endovascular experience Knowledge of PACS and Siemens Portable C-Arm functions Description: Special Procedures Radiology Technologist position available for a day shift. The shift is 4 days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Shifts will be scheduled based on unit needs, with possible late shifts occasionally. Flexible call schedule is required, approximately 8 calls per month. Holiday call may also be required. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in a high-acuity environment is necessary. Experience in FEVAR, PME, GEVAR, TEVAR, AAA, TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs is essential. Candidates must have over 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno. Familiarity with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, Medrad, etc., is required. Ability to work independently under pressure is crucial. Knowledge of EPIC charting system is necessary. No scrubbing is required in this role. Familiarity with vascular supplies such as balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths is important. Multitasking abilities and effective communication skills are essential for this position. Candidates will be evaluated based on their teamwork and independence in performing tasks. Travelers should be aware of the potential for assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June to November.
