IR Tech Shift: 4x10 Days Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Weekend REQ: Only for on-call Call Required: Yes - 5-7 days/month Will this traveler need to float between like units? No Start Date: ASAP Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks, Traveler can be called off for 1 shift per 2 week period Years of Experience Required: 2 yrs experience required Accepts First Time Travelers? Yes - with at least 2 years experience Certs Required: BLS, ARRT R, WA License Locals Accepted: No Unit Details 2 Interventional Radiologists, 1 Neuro Interventionalist, 1-2 Vascular Surgeons, and 1 PA/NP per day. We are located in the operating room, there are 3 single plane IR rooms, 1 biplane and 1 hybrid room. Procedures are also performed in a radiology room and CT. Procedures- cerebral angiography including intervention, stroke intervention, angiography including intervention of all body parts except the heart, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography including intervention, various biopsies using fluoro, CT or ultrasound, venous access (port, dialysis, central lines), gastrostomy, and various drains (biliary, nephrostomy, abscess).
