Description:
Our team takes 10-13 days of call a month, including 1-2 weekends depending on the month.
The unit has 3 suites and a staff of 10 members, which includes 6 RNs and 4 technologists.
The typical patient ratios for day shift consist of 6 RNs and 4 techs.
The equipment used includes Phillips biplanes and single plane systems.
Electronic Medical Records are managed through Meditech and GE Centricity PACS.
Typical procedures performed in this unit include neuro interventional cases, such as thrombectomies, coilings, MMA s, and spinal angiograms.
Additionally, IR body cases, including G tubes, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, and TIPS, are also performed.
Trauma angiograms for spleen, liver, GDA, renal, etc., are part of the services provided.
The ideal candidate is a team player, adaptable to different physician preferences, and enjoys taking call.
The uniform required is steel grey scrubs.
Call teams consist of 2 techs and 2 nurses per day.
