Pay: $80/hr
Shifts: 7AM-3:30PM (Monday-Friday) with weekend call every 3-4 weeks
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echocardiogram Technician for a travel assignment in the field of Interventional Radiology. This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in an environment supporting OR, inpatient, outpatient, and cath lab operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinical teams to ensure quality echocardiography diagnostic support.

Key Responsibilities of the Echocardiogram Technician- Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms as well as other ultrasound procedures as per physician orders
- Apply specialized clinical knowledge to obtain and document high-quality echocardiographic images
- Work independently within general guidance on assignments of limited to moderate complexity
- Elevate complex or unusual cases to senior technicians or management
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and regulatory requirements
- Participate in equipment maintenance and quality control procedures
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Communicate effectively with internal clinical staff and referring providers
Requirements of the Echocardiogram Technician- Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 1-3 years of echocardiography experience preferred
- Valid registration in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) by ARDMS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI, or Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT
- BLS certification required
- Experience with OR/intraoperative TEE is mandatory
