Description:
This role involves working as an interventional radiology technologist.
You will be responsible for assisting in catheterization procedures and patient care in a busy lab setting.
The lab operates with a ratio of 1 scrub radiologic technologist, 1 circulating registered nurse, and 1 recording radiologic technologist or nurse per invasive procedure.
You will utilize GE cath lab equipment and handle a variety of procedures including left heart angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction interventions.
The position requires participation in an on-call rotation after hours.
All staff members rotate to ensure coverage, including floating to different areas if experience allows.
