Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center's peripheral and neuro IR department, requiring ARRT R certification and neuro experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department specializing in peripheral and neuro procedures
• Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members
• On-call required after 5pm daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• 13 to 26 week contract options
• Potential to float to other units or campuses within qualified competencies

Requirements

• ARRT R certification required, ARRT VI preferred
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiography State License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Neuro interventional radiology experience needed
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with PACS equipment
• Additional experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures within a peripheral and neuro specialty team
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
• First-time travelers may be considered
