Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role requiring 2+ years of recent IR experience with stroke and neuro intervention procedures.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology department
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call requirement of 7-10 days every 4 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts
  • Uses Cerner and Epic charting systems

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent IR experience
  • Experience with stroke care, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations
  • Trauma experience required
  • ARRT Radiographer certification
  • ACLS and BLS certification via AHA
  • Cerner and Epic experience required
  • License required if applicable, Florida or compact license in hand required prior to start

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including cerebral thrombectomies and embolizations in a trauma setting
  • Smoke-free facility
  • Locals accepted within a 60-mile radius at a lower pay rate
  • Candidates must complete pre-start compliance modules
  • Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
  • Basic arrhythmia assessment required with a passing score prior to starting first shift
  • Former Broward Health permanent employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
