Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week assignment length
• EPIC EMR charting used, with training provided during orientation or option to test out
• No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required
• CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
• First-time license holders may apply and must obtain licensure promptly upon offer

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• 13-week break required for returning travelers after completing a prior contract or series of extensions totaling up to 1 year
• Requested RTO must be submitted with the application, as additional time will not be added to the contract end date to accommodate it
• Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required
