Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Telemetry position requiring KS or compact licensure and prior IMC/Tele experience in a large, critical care facility.

Details

  • Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shift schedule
  • Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis
  • Holiday coverage expected on an as-needed basis
  • Floating required to 2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, and 3 North Overflow Med-Surg/Negative Air Flow Unit
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
  • Minimum 1 year of IMC/Tele RN experience in a large, critical care facility required
  • ICU, Med/Surg, and experience with ventilators and titration drips preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required
  • Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
  • TDAP immunization required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to intermediate care and telemetry patients in a large hospital environment
  • Credentialing documents due by Wednesday prior to start date
  • Clock in/out performed at facility and via mobile app
