Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit position requiring med-surg background and rotating shifts.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit setting within a hospital
• Small 17-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio
• Patient population includes post-acute stroke (75%), cardiac, weakness/deconditioning, and acute rehab needs
• Rotating 7a/7p shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating within skillset required if census is low
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Epic EMR experience required
• Med-surg nursing background required
• Comparable facility size experience required

• Provide rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, cardiac events, and deconditioning
