Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab Inpatient RN for a Level 3 Trauma Center requiring at least 1 year of Rehab and Med Surg experience with an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehab unit within a Level 3 Trauma Center hospital setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:8
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • No on-call requirements
  • May float to Med Surg or other local campuses within the same discipline
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active IA or compact RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
  • At least 1 year of previous Rehab experience required
  • Med Surg experience required
  • Mandatory Reporter certification required
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • Skills checklist specific to the listed discipline required
  • Supervisory reference form completed within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

  • Contribute professional and clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
  • Limited to 1 day off request during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday blocks
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates are accepted
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
