Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior rehab nursing experience.

Details

  • 15-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a Post Acute-Acute Rehabilitation setting
  • Shift schedule of 06:45-19:15
  • 13-week assignment
  • Provides direct patient care, implements care plans, and coordinates discharge needs

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Prior Inpatient Rehab experience preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on care plans and discharge planning
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
  • First-time travelers may be considered
