Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring a CA PT license and EPIC experience.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
  • Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), with options of 8:30am-5:00pm or 11:00am-7:30pm
  • Shifts may vary depending on census
  • Work settings include acute care with a focus on neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Patient population includes post-stroke rehabilitation, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement cases
  • Uses EPIC for documentation including assessments, discharge planning, evaluations, plans of care, and short-term goals
  • Utilizes equipment such as bed alarms, gait belts, and hospital/specialty beds

Requirements

  • Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • EPIC charting system experience required
  • Acute care and inpatient rehab experience preferred

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate
  • Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
  • Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
  • Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
