Position Description:
Inpatient Physical Therapist working on a unit with 281 beds, supporting approximately 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift. The team consists of 11 licensed physical therapists, 2 physical therapist assistants, and additional PRN staff. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities. The department is known for being cohesive, highly engaged, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Required Qualifications:
Florida State License, BLS certification, 2 years of experience, and the ability to start on 11/02/2026.
Schedule:
Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information:
Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred. Previous travel experience and ability to adapt quickly are desirable qualities. Dress code involves gray scrubs. The initial assignment duration is from 11/02/2026 to 02/01/2027.
