Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) located in Kansas. The position requires a licensed physical therapist with a minimum of one year of experience, focusing on providing compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Kansas or Compact State license as a Physical Therapist, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting October 21, 2026, and ending January 20, 2027.
  • Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in ED, orthopedic/spine, rehab, telemetry, and medical-surgical units, utilizing skills such as gait training, post-operative care, and patient education.
  • Clinical experience in adult and geriatric patient populations, with skills in assessments, discharge planning, and various therapeutic modalities.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems and community hospital experience.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to float within similar units as needed. Brief orientation will be provided onsite, with modules recorded via transcripts.
