Job Summary
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a healthcare facility located in Utah. This role involves providing therapy services in a ground floor acute rehab unit, with a focus on neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses. The position requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to support patient progress through their continuum of care.

Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS (up to date), Utah State Physical Therapist license, graduation from an accredited PT program, and passing the NPTE.
  • Education Requirements: DPT or MSPT degree.
  • Location Requirements: Utah license to practice.
  • Years of Experience: 0.0 years.
  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027, with a Friday to Sunday schedule plus an additional mid-week shift either on the ground west rehab center or on the acute care side. Cross training on the acute side will occur during the second week.
  • Required Qualifications: Candidates need to have a good understanding of neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses. Be able to complete a thorough chart review and have a good understanding of lab values, weight bearing precautions, etc. Candidate needs to be flexible, demonstrate skill through good documentation, communicate well, have good time management skills, and be a team player.
  • Additional Information: The unit utilizes equipment such as Sara Stedy, Vector, BITS, BURT, Bioness H200 UE, ARJO mobility device, mechanical lift, Liko overhead lift, walkers, canes, and wheelchairs. Procedures performed include neuro re-education, gait training, balance, wheelchair training, cognitive re-education, vestibular training, energy conservation, ROM and strengthening for UPPER and LOWER extremities, orthotic use and fit, home safety, and family training.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
